Religious differences are frequently used as a pretext to create division and separatism as the religion has become a critical issue during the last few years due the uprising of religious fundamentalism that has sometimes led to terrorism and to social and political conflicts. GPP involves multi faiths include pedagogical techniques such as role playing, simulations, games, debates, round tables, problem-solving, meditation, the arts, focus groups, exposure trips and service-learning that can promote religious interaction, understanding and bridge building. GPP tries to overcome intolerance and get rid of unrest in young generations thought the following activities:

 

Interfaith Workshops and Art Exhibition

Interfaith youth hub/core

Interfaith Dialogues & Focus Group Discussions

School for peace Education Program

International Interfaith Day Celebration

 

GPP promote culture of “Global Oneness” through peace education and interfaith harmony. GPP provides a platform to create religious and social harmony among various beliefs of people in Pakistan including Muslims, Christian, Hindus, Bahai, Buddhists and others, a platform is needed to create religious and social harmony among them. GPP interfaith harmony brings equality, justice and harmony in our society. Interfaith Day provides a platform for people of different faiths to come together and share their views and practices. 

 

As per our years practice, GPP is celebrating International Interfaith Day on 18th June 2015 at Sir Syed Memorial Hall in Islamabad. 

 

Programme Objectives:

The Programme will aim to achieve the following objectives:-

To provide a platform for the people of various faiths to come together and share their views and practice.

To share ideas and concepts of interfaith harmony through visual and performing art to understand each other values, respect and dignity.

To share ideas and concepts of interfaith harmony through visual and performing art to understand each other values, respect and dignity.

To share ideas and concepts of interfaith harmony through visual and performing art to understand each other values, respect and dignity.

To promote the role and the importance of freedom and dignity as universal human right and fundamental values in inter-human, inter-religious and inter-cultural relations.

 

Main Activities for the programme:

Interfaith Peace Prayer

Cultural Musical performance

 Interactive theatre performance

Speeches of scholars

Creative art exhibition of underprivileged school children and youth belongs to all faith.

Prize Distribution Ceremony 

 

Our Chief Guest Barrister MD Abid Waheed Sheikh, MD Pakistan Bait-Ul-Mal has been invited to attend the event and inaugrate the Art Exhibition.
