The mission of the project is to provide FREE Medicine to those who cant afford to buy medicine due to their financial situation and expensive medicines. GPP realises that a huge percentage of people of Pakistan has no access to medicine due to affordability hence they are forced to live unhealthy and untreated even the Govt Hospitals are not able to provide free mediciation because of the lack of resources.

Boring and Water Storage | |||
Village Sehar Sarrari is a small town in Tehsil Hajira, District Poonch, Azad Kashmir. People of Sirhahri have no access to basic life facilities including clean water for drinking. In order to get water to fulfill their daily need women of the village has to travel almost 4 km distance every day. To support them with water and has easy access Global Peace Pioneers has initiated the boring and storage of water.

GPP Orphan House | |||
Global Peace Pioneers is pleased to announce that GPP Orphan House (Named as GPP Gharana (Home)) has opened. GPP is collecting funds to support this noble cause and we urge you to donate generously. In addition to the donations, you may refer an Orphan of 3-5 years of age so we can register him/her and keep the place reserved.
GPP Orphan Centre is providing accommodation, food, clothing, education (both Islamic and General), health services. Our dedicated team will look after the orphans just like their parents and these team members (gaurdians) will be qualified to look after orphans.
GPP made connections with local schools, Islamic centres, hospitals and other rehabilitation centres to provide services to these orphans in collaboration with GPP. GPP vision is to make orphan feels being NOT AN ORPHAN.

8.1 Magnitute Earthquake Strikes Pakistan | |||
ISLAMABAD - A strong earthquake measuring 8.1 on Richter Scale struck major cities of Pakistan, including the northern areas on Monday. No casualties have been reported yet. Tremors have been felt in major cities, including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Kohat and Malakand. Tremors were also felt in Kabul and New Delhi. The magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck in northeastern Afghanistan, the United States Geological Survey said. The quake was 196 km deep and centred 82 km southeast of Feyzabad in a remote area of Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountain range. The Pakistan Meteorological Department said that the magnitude of the earthquake was 8.1. Communication services have been disrupted in Islamabad. A building has also reportedly collapsed in Peshawar. Citizens took to social media to post reports of the massive quake that lasted for up to one minute.
GPP Disaster Management Team (DMT) with their wide range of professional disaster response experience developed strategy to conduct survey to assist the earthquake victims as quickly as possible. GPP team, at present, collecting the data and paying visits to the most vulnerable areas and holding meetings with their respective representatives. Schools for Peace in collaboration with DAI - AAWAZ | |||
Project Title: Cohesion among schools and communities to prevent / mediate conflicts and disputes peacefully through School for Peace Program in Selected Districts of KPK and Punjab.
Implemented with financial support from DAI-AAWAZ, the School for Peace Program is first innovative concept of its kind for the Communities to better able to prevent conflicts and disputes peacefully in their respective areas. The programs created through this initiative will encourage youth to respect diversity, think globally, value human rights, recognize injustice and respond to conflict with methods other than violence. Proposed program will assist teachers, parents and community to educate peace for change. This is the need of the hour to build a society/community that will be the ambassadors of the peace, will be known as peacemakers. | |||
Pakistan Floods 2015 | |||
Huge devastation occurred due to the recent flooding in many districts of KPK and Punjab region- Pakistan. Pakistan being part of South Asia Region, the most vulnerable and disaster-prone of all other countries in the regions, has regularly experienced a wide variety of natural disasters. Monsoon season starting in Month of July every year brings miseries and challenges for the local communities and authorities at large. This year the torrential rains and floods in the rivers have resulted in devastating impact on the local inhabitants.

Pakistan Floods - Nearly one million affected | |||

Tens of thousands have been forced to leave their homes and are scrambling to save their families and belongings along the river banks in Punjab and Sindh provinces. | |||
URGENT APPEAL for IDPs of North Waziristan | |||
In the wake of military operation in the northwestern tribal area of North Waziristan Agency (NWA), FATA province, huge influx of people fleeing from the NWA has resulted in serious humanitarian crises. On 26 June, the Pakistani army also began ground assaults, heightening the threat to civilians. The region has been targeted with shelling and air raids, and at least 456,000 people, including nearly 200,000 children (42%), fled ahead of or during the ground assaults. Priorities for humanitarian assistance in response to needs include protection, food, shelter, health, water, sanitation and hygiene. The number of internally displaced people has already crossed the figure 455,000 with over 110,941 females, 151, 332, children and 92,790 males. Over 380,000 people have been evacuated in a week. Influx of IDPs is likely to increase in next few days.
The operation propels large number of displacements from neighbor districts of Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Dera Ismail Khan, and kohat in Khayber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The majority of IDPs are women (32%) and children (42%). The displaced people are facing hardships due to security restrictions, lack of transport and inflate fares. The displaced families urgently required relief.

Earth Quake in Balochistan, Pakistan - September 2013 | |||
As per the recent reports powerful earthquake has killed at least 265 people in Pakistan's remote south-west province of Baluchistan.
Entire villages are reported to have been flattened in the impoverished and sparsely-populated district of Awaran. Balochistan government spokesman Jan Buledi said most of the fatalities were in Awaran town and the surrounding villages, and he warned that the death toll could rise. At least 340 people have been injured.

“Either we are unlucky or we are born to bear the painful life” remarked Ms. Noreen Batool while her eyes were filled with water.
